Meet Chastity

My love for traveling, photography, and the outdoors is what drives my creative mind. Capturing the perfect photograph at the perfect moment in time is my goal, and it is these photographs that are the inspiration for my artwork. I use mixed media techniques and a layering process to apply my own abstract twist, creating unique textures while bringing my vision to life. I’ll use just about anything I can get my hands on in my art, from old book pages to dried flowers and everything in between, the possibilities are endless. When painting, I mostly use my hands, no brushes or tools. This helps me feel more attached to my artwork, sort of grounded to it. I hope to create artwork others can not only see, but experience.

Currently a resident artist at River Oaks Square Arts Center, I have had the opportunity to grow in my art endeavors and learn from fellow artists.
